2017 has made its way in and I can’t believe that January has already come and gone. I have rounded up a few favorites that I have enjoyed throughout this month:

January Favorites
Makeup
Makeup swatches are coming back full force.
I went through a major lip product phase a few years back. I would go crazy with swatching, leaving every beauty department with different colored stripes up and down my arms. The phase has died down now, but I feel like it’s slowly coming back ever since I got my hands on the Sephora Tartiest Lip in Bestie and the itCosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Butter Gloss in Perfect Nude I love the subtle mauve in the Tartiest Lip and the natural pink in the itCosmetics gloss. Bestie has a nice matte finish that has good staying power whereas Perfect Nude is a nice hydrating gloss. Both lip products are definitely something I’ve been wearing out and about throughout January.

Accessory
My inner child really came out every time I wore this bag. One of my absolute favorite movies growing up was Mary Poppins. So when I saw this bag at Zara, I knew I had to have it. And just like Mary Poppins’ bag, this bag can hold everything. Well, maybe not everything, like a floor lamp and a wall mirror, but it carries all my day-to-day necessities. *The bag is unfortunately unavailable at Zara*

Music
I feel like I’ve been listening to these two artists on repeat throughout January. Sinead Harnett has a soulful vibe that reminds me of Jesse Ware. My two favorites, No Other Way and If You Let Me have me vibin’ as I drive around. Even though Khelani’s new album, SweetSexySavage came out towards the end of January, I had to include it into my favorites. Kehlani is back with another album and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I’ve been listening to Piece of Mind, Keep On, and Too Much on repeat. Each track has Khelani reminding us that girls really can be all three - sweet, sexy, savage.

Book
I’ve been a follower of Estée Lalonde on YouTube for a long time now. I’ve watched her grow and evolve into a confident, and beautiful woman and when I heard she came out with a book, I had to get my hands on it. Bloom is everything you would expect it to be. As I was reading it, I can hear her voice, almost as if she was reading it to me. She doesn’t need to try to be relatable, she just is.
